Visited Goodfellow Brothers job sites in Kula, Central Maui Regional Sports Complex and the Airport's ConRAC project! Spoke to their employees and learned about this amazing company that instill Aloha and safety with their employees!
September 30th, I attended Lanai 5th Friday and the town was buzzing with community! The County of Maui implemented Friday Town Party events modeled after the Wailuku First Friday which is one of my community events that I have produced for the past 8 years. This is held in small towns and support businesses on 1st at Wailuku, 2nd at Lahaina, 3rd at Makawao, 4th at Kihei and now 5th Friday in Lanai City.
Also, a big mahalo to the ILWU who arranged special meetings for endorsed candidates with their members working at the the Manele Baby Resort. Thank you ILWU, Local 142!
Went to Lanai and enjoyed the beauty of the people, breakfast at Blue Ginger, church service at Lahaina Hongwanji too.
Welcomed to Lanai open market with a lot of warmth and aloha! I am so grateful!

Atsuko Baba Kashiwa: Want to mention my mom... who is not with us physically, but daily she is in my thoughts. She lived with us and enriched our lives!
September 26 - Visited Molokai and they are an island of true ALOHA! I am grateful to all the people I met!
Here is Colette Machado who speaks with truth and a heart for our native Hawaii and Hawaiians.
I love Molokai! This is grandma Mikami who said she has voted in every election from the day she was eligible. What a role model to everyone!
Molokai in the 90's I did the Meadow Gold Healthy Baby Contest on Molokai at the Na Puuwai Health Fair. Here is the ice cream eating contest. I got to work with Friendly Market, Misaki's, Molokai Drugs and Kualapuu Market for prizes and they helped promote this community event too!
On Molokai I walked to a home that had two of my yard signs. It was Janice Shimada Espiritu who is the principal of Kaunakakai Elementary, plus my Baldwin High School classmate! So lucky to have her support!
Pat Kawano, Jr. who sign waves and canvasses for me too! I adored his father who I got to work with when I was an EA for the Council. So grateful!
