15th Annual Richard Hoopii Leo Kie Kie Falsetto Competition

If you ever have an opportunity to speak with Richard Hoopii and his wife Ulu, you will be blessed with his grace,  wisdom, kindness and compassion.  Thank you Uncle Richard for sharing your art of Falsetto with all the contestants over these past 15 years.  You are a living treasure and has performed amongst many great artist in the world.    

I am blessed to be the County Coordinator for the Festivals of Aloha project.  But it is truly the community from Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Hana that makes this happen. We produce 20 events during the months of September and October.   Our mission is to Honor our native Hawaiian culture and working to perpetuate it for generations to come.
