April 1 is the deadline to submit your input to the FAA and National Park Service.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Park Service (NPS) invite public and stakeholder input on the potential alternatives for the Haleakala National Park Air Tour Management
Plan (ATMP) Environmental Assessment (EA). April 1 is the deadline to scope
comments on the draft EA and Air Tour Management Plan.

Your input is needed on impacts to people, resources from the air tours over the park
(and within 1/2 mile of park boundaries).

By April 1 please submit your input to their website: Park planning - Haleakala Air Tour Management Plan (ATMP)

After April 1, the next phase of work will be for the FAA and the NPS to develop alternatives for managing the air tours and to analyze the environmental (and human) impacts of those alternatives. FAA and NPS will release analysis and the proposed alternatives for public comment in the all/winder 2022 with the option for public meetings at that time.

Comments are welcome now and again during the draft comment phase in the fall/winter 2022.

I will request the FAA and NPS to hold a community meeting at that time.
