NACo Conference - Washington D.C.

At my next Policy, Economic Development and Agriculture Committee Meeting the Technology Division will present updates our county preparedness for cyber security! At this conference I learned more in depth about this important protection for the county. So awesome! Learning soooooo much here in Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. memories visits, got into the newest museum African American and also saw the newly released portraits of Michelle Obama and President Obama. Our HAWAII State Association of Counties visited Representatives Tulsi Gabbard, Colleen Hanabusa, Senators Brian Schatz and Mazie Hirono. I asked each to please keep the Soil and Water Conservation funding $8M as we hear the it may be deleted from the Trump FY 2019 budget (Maui County receives $1.5 m) and I asked for EPA direction on the cesspool conversion by 2050. This has residents concerned. @ Washington, District of Columbia
